Things I love

I love watching my garden come to life. I love the excitement of what is on its way. I love the planting and I love having a daughter help me with it. I love walking out my back gate to find 12 little baby ducks. Hard to see in this picture, sorry. I love how excited Katelee gets EVERYDAY to go out back and see the ducks.
I love that Katelee has good friends that she plays so well with. I also love that these same friends have moms that have become my best friends and favorite people to be around. They make me a better person, they help me be a better mom and they are AMAZING woman that I want to be like someday (hopefully soon) - thank you ladies, from the bottom of my heart.

I love my life, hard as it is, I love it.
This little lady, Katelee,  is such a good girl. She teaches me so much. She is 100%  a daddy's girl - and I kinda love watching the two of them drool over each other.

Eva, on the other hand seems to be a little lot attached to me, which I tell myself everyday to enjoy because she will outgrow it. She is 8 months old - I can not seem to figure out how to slow time down, so I try to enjoy everyday (some days this works). I also love this handsome man. I remember shortly after we were married my father told me that I "should thank the Lord everyday for Adam."  I totally agree, I am one lucky woman because he loves me, no mater what and I continue to thank the Lord daily for putting him in my life.

This post has turned out a lot longer then I expected.... but Adam is probably the only one still reading so I think it is okay. :)

Farm Day!

Adam has a co-worker that has a farm just down the road from our house. She had a "farm day." We were so excited to take Katelee. It was pretty fun. So for your entertainment I caught some of the moments with the camera. :)

The farm was great! Katelee wants a tractor, not sure how that will fit into our backyard. :)

SEVEN

Eva is SEVEN months old TODAY! I am really excited that I am getting this posted ON TIME! I call that success. I just can not get over how fast my girls are growing. I wont lie the last seven(+) months are kind of a blur. But blur or not I am so glad that Eva is here. Eva Bea is an amazing girl. She is going to move mountains in her life, I can feel it. I am so glad that I get to watch and help her become a strong and confident woman. What a blessing to be her mom!

Behind - picture overload

The story of my life is behind, but with two girls I don't think I should want it any other way. if I was ahead I would feel like I was good at this mom stuff. So for now I am behind. I wanted to do a quick update with what we have been up to.

First Eva turned 6 months old. I can not believe how fast these little people grow. She loves life! She is happy, most of the time. Like most people, she likes attention. She cries when she sees some people- like Adams mom. She is still learning to sleep but pretty darn good. She talks/jabbers NON stop. My father would say "of course, she is her mothers daughter." I fall more in love with her EVERYDAY!
This little girl gets the best big sister award. She LOVES Eva. She is a treasure to have as a daughter. She is two- busy and knows timeout very well. But when I think about it I am really lucky she is a really, really great girl. She even taught the FHE lesson this week and she did a GREAT job!
The sisterly love continues. Katelee can make Eva laugh more then anyone else. They are starting to 'play' with each other and boy do I love to watch!

Me and the girls went to Las Vegas to play with these crazy boys and their beautiful mom. It was a really fun trip. Wish it could have been four times as long. Note to remember weather in Vegas is AMAZING, so if you are thinking of going- DO IT. go see Aimee and don't worry about being bored. There are so many things that need to be done around the house. :)

We make a weekly trip to Thanksgiving point. Katelee LOVES it. Here are a few snapshots from a recent trip when daddy came along too.

Everyone gets to play at the Dinosaur Museum! We love being able to go so much right now. It really is a HUGE blessing.
Other than that stuff we are doing the normal stuff. Eating, sleeping and playing.

I have flowers coming out of the ground to remind me of a new beginning and the beauty that spring brings. I love spring- a lot.

Valentines

Adam loves me so much he was willing to dress up and dance with me this year for a little Valentines Dance. We had a BLAST!

I love my Valentine- So very much.

When Adam and I were dating I told him thew only day I did not want him to propose was Valentines Day. I told him that I find that so unoriginal and cliche. Needless to say he proposed on Valentines Day. I said yes even though it was on the one day I didn't want it to happen. :) I am so glad that I did!

I love you, babe

5 Months

I can not believe that Eva is 5 months old. How the time goes SO FAST!  Eva is a real gem! She loves her big sister, loves sitting in her bumbo and has even gotten pretty good at rolling over (only from back to belly). Katelee is amazing at being a big sister, she really loves Eva. I think they are going to be best friends, as they should be. Just a few fun pictures to help you fall in love with this little laddie!
She loves food--- as if you can not tell. this 17.8 lb  girl is in the 93%, when it comes to weight.

I had to throw this one of Katelee in. :) She hates being in 'time out'.
Our lives are starting to get into a schedule again. I am such a schedule kind of girl so this makes me really happy. We love our girls!
